Adj Assoc Prof Ben Keith

Specialist Policy Advisor

Adj Assoc Prof Ben Keith is the Specialist Policy Advisor in the Dental Board of Australia team at Ahpra. Since joining Ahpra in 2013, he has been the manager of the dental clinical advisory team and the Multiprofession clinical advisory team. He has contributed deep regulatory and clinical insight to strengthen practitioner safety and professional standards.

Ben’s career includes significant leadership roles in dental education and professional regulation, including seven years as a tribunal member on the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He served as Clinical Director of Dentistry and Oral Health at La Trobe University, where he helped establish Australia’s first rural dental and oral health school.

He has held longstanding governance roles with the Australian Dental Association (Victorian Branch), including eight years as Chair of the Continuing Professional Development Committee and service across multiple Federal and State committees.

Ben was an examiner with the Australian Dental Council and has participated in accreditation teams.  With postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Ben brings a strong commitment to community‑centred care. His clinical work includes seven years at Rumbalara Aboriginal Community Cooperative, as well as founding and delivering services through a not‑for‑profit health initiative in central Myanmar.

Neda Nikolovski

Dental Prosthetist and Dental Technician

Neda Nikolovski is a highly experienced Dental Prosthetist and Dental Technician with 20 years of experience across clinical practice, education, governance, and regulation within the Australian oral health sector. A graduate of Griffith University, she has dedicated much of her career to Metro South Oral Health Services as a Senior Dental Prosthetist, while also contributing extensively to professional education, accreditation, and policy development.

Neda has held leadership and advisory positions with organisations including the Australian Dental Council, Dental Board of Australia, and the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association Ltd, at both State and National levels. She is recognised for her strong leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to professional standards, quality care, and mentoring within the dental profession.

In recognition of her significant contribution to the industry and professional community, Neda was awarded a National Life Membership by the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association in 2019.

Operations Manager, Notifications, Ahpra

Kylie is a legal professional who transitioned from private law to health regulation. She currently works as the Operations Manager for Notifications at Ahpra, where she helps protect the public by regulating Australia’s registered health practitioners. In her role, Kylie works alongside her team to manage notifications and ensure that all registered health practitioners meet the standards and policies set to safeguard public health and safety.
