In this presentation, Sravan shares how he has brought digital dentistry into his everyday clinical practice particularly in removable prosthodontics. He is not an early adopter; his approach is to keep up with the field and then tinker with different tools until they earn a place in daily work. The overall aim is to make treatment either simpler or more predictable — and to spark some discussion about what might be useful in your own practices.
Sravan qualified as a dentist in Adelaide and spent several years in rural Victoria, where he gained an appreciation for managing patients with failing dentitions and complex restorative needs. This led him to specialise in prosthodontics at the University of Sydney, deepening his expertise in the advanced restorative treatment of worn, failing or missing teeth. He has since practised in Sydney and Adelaide across public hospital, private and university settings
Sravan is also a long-term committee member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society, where he has served as Treasurer for both the NSW and SA Branches and is currently its Federal President.
He has run a private practice in the Adelaide CBD since 2018. While his work spans the full scope of prosthodontics, he has a particular interest in the management of removable dentures and, where appropriate, in transitioning patients to dental implants. He also has worked as a visiting prosthodontist in the public sector and is a long-standing clinical tutor for dental students, particularly in removable prosthodontics.
